Cameras

Camera positions and settings

Cameras provide view/projection parameters for framing scenes in a consistent, repeatable way.

How it works

  • Projection: perspective (FOV/focal length) or orthographic (size).
  • Clipping planes: near/far distances affect depth precision.
  • Animated transforms and focal properties can be exported as channels.

Interoperability notes

  • Sensor size/film back assumptions differ; confirm FOV vs. focal length mapping.
  • Units and up-axis affect matching between DCC and engine.
  • Depth-of-field parameters often require retuning per renderer.
